Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Abovecodes, you agree to these terms. If you are a parent or school creating an account for a student, you are agreeing on that student's behalf as well.

Abovecodes accounts are role-based: student, parent, teacher, school administrator, or platform administrator. Each role sees only the dashboard and data appropriate to it. A student account is created through a school invite code or by a parent linking the account to their own — Abovecodes does not offer open self-signup for students.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform to harass, bully, or share content that is unsafe for other students.
• Attempt to bypass the AI Tutor's safety filters or the platform's access controls.
• Use another person's account, or a student account you are not authorized to manage.
• Upload or submit content you don't have the right to use.

A message that trips the AI Tutor's safety filter is automatically logged for review by a teacher, school admin, or platform admin, and a serious concern may be escalated to a parent.

Some plans require a paid subscription, billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. A promo or trial code grants free, time-limited access to a plan and expires automatically at the end of its trial period without any action required from you.

Projects, code, and reflections a student submits remain theirs (or their parent's, if the parent is the account holder), subject to their teacher and school's ability to view and assess that work as part of instruction.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, particularly around student safety. You can request account deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy.

Abovecodes is provided "as is." We work to keep the platform safe and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access or that the AI Tutor's responses will always be accurate.

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
